Press Release from Readex

As a participant in the Readex ETC (Enhancements, Training and Content) program, your institution enjoys a variety of unique benefits, including access to the latest books, newspapers and other printed items added to Readex's Web-based Archive of Americana® collections.

This month, more than 120 recently identified books, pamphlets and broadsides - not available at the time previous microform editions were published - have been added to the authoritative digital edition of Early American Imprints, Series I: Evans, 1639-1800. By the end of 2006, a total of approximately 200 such imprints will have been added.

Highlights of recent additions include:

Duport, Pierre Landrin. No. 1 of a new sett of cotilions with figures called after the American Navy composed by Mr. P. Landrin Duport professor of dancing from Paris and original composer of cadriels. New York, 1800? Series number 50171.

Paine, Thomas. The death of General Wolf. A song. United States, between 1775 and 1810. Series number 49291.

The comprehensiveness of Readex's digital editions is well known, yet Readex continually seeks to identify, locate and digitize appropriate books, pamphlets, broadsides, newspapers, maps and other materials to supplement the Archive of Americana collections.
