Stones River

Are you planning a trip to Middle Tennessee soon? Perhaps you want to visit the historic Stones River National Battlefield near Murfreesboro. This historic battle was fought December 31, 1862 through January 2, 1863. I don't think it was a very Happy New Year for those involved in the battle or for the nearby residents.
